What they need
Physician Assistant - Men's Health
Part-time, with a path to full time | 16 to 24 hours per week | $50.48 to $52.88 per hour | Amherst, NY | In person
Two days a week, practicing medicine the way you meant to when you started. Men who actually want to be there, lab results in your hand in about 15 minutes, no prior authorizations, and a panel of patients you follow for years instead of seeing once. No call. No weekends. No charting at 9 p.m. to justify a code.
About GameDay Men's Health
GameDay Men's Health is the man cave for men's health. Founded in Southern California, we are one of the fastest growing networks of men's clinics in the country, with corporate and franchise locations open nationally.
We exist for one simple reason: to give men a world-class experience so they can feel their best. More than 40 percent of men have low testosterone by age 40, and more than 60 percent will experience erectile dysfunction at some point in their lives. Almost none of them raise it at their annual physical.
We built a practice they will actually walk into. Our clinics are set in a man cave environment, with flat screen TVs, leather chairs, hardwood floors, and sports memorabilia. We run our own in-house lab and do patient testing on site, so testosterone levels come back in about 15 minutes and you can start a plan in the same visit. We are membership-based and cash-pay, which means no prior authorizations, no insurance denials, and no billing fights. You spend your time on medicine.
Our Amherst clinic specializes in testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction treatment, weight management, and PRP. We are focused on the personal, professional and financial growth of our team, with a real path to leadership as we open additional clinics.
About this role
This is a part-time position, 16 to 24 hours per week on a set schedule you help choose. It is a real clinical seat, not a fill-in: you carry your own panel, follow your patients over time, and own their outcomes.
We are adding a second provider because a clinic with one provider closes when that provider is out, and our patients count on us being open. As the practice and the network grow, this role can grow with it, including to full time.
If you are looking to supplement a hospital or primary care schedule with clinic work that is fast, personal, and free of insurance, this is built for you.
What you will do
- Evaluate and treat men for low testosterone, and prescribe and manage testosterone replacement therapy under the supervision of the supervising physician
- Evaluate and treat erectile dysfunction, including options such as GAINSWave, the P-Shot, and Trimix
- Manage weight management patients and consult on broader sexual wellness and vitality
- Run new-patient consultations, interpret on-site and reference lab results, and build a management plan the patient understands and will stick to
- Administer intramuscular and PRP injections
- Follow your panel over time, adjust therapy on repeat labs, and own continuity of care
- Document in eClinicalWorks and comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Work with the Clinic Director, the RN General Manager, the LPN, and the front desk to hit clinic census and retention goals
- Help set clinical protocol and mentor the nursing staff as the clinic grows
Skills and qualifications
- No hormone therapy or peptide experience required. We train every provider on our protocols and treatment plans, and the clinicians who do best here are the ones who want to learn this medicine well.
- Ability to explain testosterone, ED treatment, and weight management in language a man with no medical background will act on
- Consultative style. Patients choose to be here and pay out of pocket, so trust and rapport drive whether they stay.
- Efficiency. Our patients come to us because we are fast, and you will need to run a full schedule without rushing anyone.
- Sound judgment on when a patient needs referral, additional workup, or a conversation about risk
- Interest in the business side of a clinic, including census, retention, and outcomes
Requirements
- Active New York Physician Assistant license in good standing
- DEA registration and New York controlled substance registration, or eligibility to obtain both
- Two or more years of experience as a Physician Assistant, and current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- No current or pending malpractice actions
- In-person availability at the Amherst clinic
Preferred
- Experience in men's health, urology, endocrinology, primary care, or aesthetics
- Experience in a cash-pay or membership-based practice
- Interest in growing into a clinical leadership role as the network expands
