Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to gather vital signs, medical histories, and clinical data.
• Assist in diagnostic evaluations by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests such as ECGs or ultrasound procedures.
• Prescribe medications, administer injections including botulinum toxin treatments, and manage medication regimens in compliance with DEA regulations.
• Perform medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, airway management, and aseptic techniques during clinical interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties including emergency medicine, critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and hospital medicine to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters and data collection for clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in telehealth consultations and contribute to clinical trials or research projects aimed at advancing medical knowledge and patient care standards.

Skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation and data management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Experience with acute pain management, ventilator management, ICU procedures including intubation and airway management.
• Skilled in performing clinical procedures like phlebotomy, IV infusion, catheterization, and dermal filler administration.
• Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for accurate billing and documentation.
• Critical care experience within Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency room settings; experience in trauma triage is highly valued.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to educate patients on health coaching, medication use, or post-discharge care plans.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
