Physician Assistant

We are looking for a full-time Physician Assistant who would like to join a growing specialty practice in the San Diego area. This position combines hospital and clinical office based services.

The candidate is responsible for providing direct medical care to patients, assisting physician with procedures, maintaining accurate and current patient records on the electronic health record, and rounding in several local area hospitals.

Job responsibilities include:

• Experience with a neurosurgical, orthopedic or interventional pain practice is a plus but will train motivated candidate
• Perform patient assessments and provide care to patients in both the clinic and hospital setting
• Educate and evaluate patients treatment plans
• Coordinate patient care as a triage resource; strong administrative skills a must
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care
• Procedures as allowed under state license
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical and chronic conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
