Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and intake procedures to gather essential health information.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such eClinicalWorks to document findings accurately.
• Prescribe medications following HIPAA regulations and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) guidelines, including injection administration and medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on diagnostic test interpretation—such as radiology imaging or laboratory results—and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Experience

• Prior hospital experience in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or critical care environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management.
• Experience in acute care settings such as urgent care, outpatient clinics, or medical-surgical units is essential.
• Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate medical billing and documentation.
• Exposure & Interest in Family Medicine and Primary Care.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology to support comprehensive patient assessments and treatment strategies.
