Part-Time Physician Assistant ( PA) / Nurse Practitioner ( NP) – Gastroenterology Clinic

Join Our Gastroenterology Team!

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable PA / NP to join our busy Gastroenterology (GI) clinic on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment providing high-quality digestive health care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide patient education and follow-up care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist with coordination of care and referrals as needed

Qualifications:

• Current PA/ NP license in good standing (should be eligible to practice in California)
• Fluency in Spanish and English is a must
• NCCPA certification required
• Experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and clinical decision-making abilities
• Experience with EMR systems
