The goal of the clinics is to provide an alternative to the ER for most problems with little wait time and at an affordable price. These Urgent Cares are not like typical urgent cares as we handle high acuity cases, have a full Xray suite, have in house labs, and the ability to treat and reduce many fractures. We are open 7 days a week but we are closed all major holidays, and have flexible scheduling providing a quality of life. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PA/NP. Duties include providing medical care to patients, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures (laceration repairs, I&D, foreign body removals, etc). The role also involves documenting patient information, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and providing education and counseling to patients. Most importantly this position will give an opportunity to learn how to perform advanced procedures such as fracture reductions etc.

Qualifications

• Strong medical knowledge and clinical skills
• Experience in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Ability to diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Current valid California Physician Assistant license
• Current DEA License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Willingness to learn
