Job Summary

The CBSE High School Physics Associate Teacher supports the teaching and learning of Physics for students in Grades VI - X. The teacher is responsible for delivering engaging lessons, conducting laboratory activities, assessing student progress, and fostering scientific thinking in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and presentations.
• Conduct practical experiments and ensure safe laboratory practices.
• Assess student performance through class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students.
• Encourage inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Physics is preferred.
• CTET/TET qualification is an added advantage (where applicable).

Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.

• Strong knowledge of CBSE Physics curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and smart classroom technologies.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with activity-based and experiential learning.
• Ability to prepare students for Olympiads and science exhibitions.
• Familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines and competency-based education.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
