The role will start ASAP. We have a supply issue, not a demand issue. We have recently seen incredible growth of new referrals into the clinic and we can't fit all of the clients we want into the diary! In an ideal world, you will start at the start of September, but for an exceptional candidate, we will consider a week or two later. So time is of the essence! MENTORING!

Everybody always wants to know about mentoring, so here's the lowdown on what you'll receive: 

1. Weekly 1:1 formal mentoring with Sports Masters Titled Physio, Mitch Cunningham. He comes with experience at AFL, AFLW, VFLW, EPL experience. And if all that is just a bunch of letters to you - do some Googling ;)

2. Informal mentoring is also available from 15+ AND 20+ year experienced physios working alongside you in the clinic (they're two different people, just FYI)

3. Weekly team PD which covers topics like journal club, treating each other, presenting external PD events that others in the team have attended, external presenters like leading orthopaedic surgeons, specialist physios and more and more and more!

4. Generous PD budget (the sky is almost the limit here...)

5. Access to journal club articles, previous internal and external PD events and notes and MUCH, MUCH MORE!

What we expect from you!

In any job, there has to be come give and take. We want to work with physios who want to be GREAT, not just GOOD. If you’re going to accept a career of mediocrity, this probably isn’t the place or you. But if you want to achieve exceptional results with your clients, you want to learn, and you want to elevate the standard of our great profession, we’ll fit together nicely.

A few other details!

1. Sadly, we offer no aged care or DVA work. If that’s something you’re interested in, we aren’t the place for you
2. The role can be flexible for either Monday to Friday, or Tuesday to Saturday if you want to build your caseload even quicker!
3. There are in-rooms appointments, Clinical Pilates classes and Strength and Conditioning Classes also part of this role
4. We have an infrared sauna on site, and it is FREE for team members to use!

About Us!

Established over 35 yers ago under the banner of City South Physio (CSP), Matt Pallozzi is now working alongside Craig Christie, the previous owner of CSP, under a relocated and rebranded Instinct South. We have our sister clinic, Instinct Health, in Camberwell where we collaborate, share ideas and PF opportunities. Our recently fitted our clinic now has brand new Reformers, and Trapeze table. There is currently a squat rack, a full run of dumbbells and in the 2nd half of 2026, VALD Forceplates are arriving in the clinic to truly objectify your decision making!

We e have strong and long-term relationships with some of the BEST surgeons Australia have to offer who are active referrers in the clinic, and we also support Port Melbourne in the VFL by providing physio to their men's program.

We are a tight-knit team who socialise regularly (by choice, we don't like to force these things), push one another to be GREAT and have loads of fun along the way.
