• Physiotherapist Job DescriptionA Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical movement problems, pain, injuries, and mobility limitations. • Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physiotherapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, and mobility training.
• Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, or musculoskeletal problems.
• Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
• Educate patients and caregivers about exercises, posture, injury prevention, and home-care programs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
• Follow clinical, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
• Valid registration with the relevant professional/medical authority, where applicable.
• Good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred but may not be required for entry-level positions.
