Physiotherapist

Vizor Performance & Recovery is looking for an experienced, motivated and clinically confident Physiotherapist to join our growing independent clinic across Bury St Edmunds and our upcoming second location in Thetford.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of growth and become part of a clinic focused on helping clients recover from injury, manage pain, stay active and perform at their best.

THE ROLE

You will work with a varied client base, assessing and managing musculoskeletal injuries, pain and movement-related issues, providing hands-on treatment, rehabilitation and exercise-based support.

Alongside physiotherapy appointments, the successful candidate will also be required to provide sports massage treatments, so applicants must be comfortable working across both services.

As this is a growing independent clinic, this role is not a position within an established, fully booked practice. You will be joining at an early stage and will be responsible for building your client caseload over time, with support from Vizor Performance & Recovery through marketing, local partnerships and ongoing promotion of the clinic.

We are therefore looking for someone who understands that building a new client base takes time and is comfortable working within a developing business environment. There may be periods of lower appointment volume, particularly initially, with the expectation that the caseload will develop as the clinic and your reputation within it grow.

The role will involve:

• Initial physiotherapy consultations and assessments
• Musculoskeletal injury and pain management
• Clinical reasoning, diagnosis and appropriate onward referral where required
• Hands-on treatment
• Rehabilitation and exercise prescription
• Sports massage treatments
• Supporting clients with injury recovery, training and performance
• Maintaining accurate and professional clinical records
• Building and developing your own client caseload with support from Vizor Performance & Recovery
• Working collaboratively within a growing multidisciplinary clinic

CLINIC RESPONSIBILITIES

During your scheduled clinic hours, you will be responsible for independently managing the day-to-day running of the clinic.

This will include:

• Opening and preparing the clinic for the day's appointments
• Ensuring the treatment space is clean, tidy and professionally presented
• Managing your appointments and keeping the clinic running to schedule
• Ensuring payments are taken correctly and in accordance with clinic procedures
• Completing required clinical and administrative records
• Closing down and securing the clinic at the end of your scheduled hours
• Maintaining the professional standards and client experience expected by Vizor Performance & Recovery

This is an important part of the role. We are a small, growing business, so we are looking for someone who is proactive, responsible and comfortable taking ownership.

ABOUT YOU

• HCPC registered
• Appropriately qualified to practise as a Physiotherapist in the UK
• Clinically confident and comfortable working independently across two locations
• Confident managing and running a clinic during scheduled shifts
• Experienced in assessing and managing musculoskeletal injuries
• Comfortable providing physiotherapy, sports massage and exercise rehabilitation
• A strong communicator with excellent professional boundaries
• Evidence-based while still understanding that every client is an individual
• Proactive, reliable and self-motivated
• Comfortable building a client base within a developing independent clinic
• Willing to contribute to the growth and development of the business
• Comfortable working with a varied client base, from active individuals and gym-goers to athletes and those managing longer-term issues

Private practice experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.

ABOUT VIZOR PERFORMANCE & RECOVERY

Vizor Performance & Recovery is an independent, growing recovery and rehabilitation clinic currently based in Bury St Edmunds, with a second location launching in Thetford very soon.

Our aim is to build a trusted, professional and client-focused clinic offering a range of services to support recovery, injury management, rehabilitation and performance.

You will be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to help shape the development of the clinic, build a strong client base and become an established part of the wider Vizor Performance & Recovery team.

• Self-employed associate position
• 40% fee split payable to the therapist for each completed treatment
