About the role
We are looking for a motivated and patient‑centred Physiotherapist (Scoliosis & Spine Care) to join our growing clinical team. This role focuses on the management of scoliosis and spinal conditions, combining physiotherapy rehabilitation with hands‑on involvement in customised bracing care. The physiotherapist will work closely with patients to deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes and will also be involved in basic brace fitting optimisation, including minor brace adjustments to improve comfort, fit, and compliance. Structured training and clinical guidance will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with scoliosis, spinal, and musculoskeletal conditions, including posture, movement, pain, and functional limitations.
- Develop, implement, and review appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practice.
- Deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes focusing on posture correction, spinal stability, breathing control, functional movement, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Guide patients through supervised exercise sessions and prescribe home exercise programmes to support long‑term outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical response and goals.
- Educate patients on proper brace usage, wear schedule, skin care, and daily activity modification.
- Assess brace fit during follow‑up sessions and identify areas of discomfort or suboptimal fitting.
- Perform minor brace modifications, including trimming, carving, or cutting, to improve comfort and fitting where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and brace adjustments performed.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and consistent patient care.
About you
- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Valid practicing licensure and professional certification as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in spine and scoliosis rehabilitation.
- Willingness to be involved in hands‑on brace fitting support and minor adjustments.
- Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused mindset.
- Prior experience managing scoliosis patients (paediatric, adolescent, or adult).
- Exposure to scoliosis‑specific or spine‑focused rehabilitation approaches.
- Experience working in an outpatient or multidisciplinary clinic setting.
- Comfortable working with children, teenagers, and families.
