Company Overview

Parkinson Society Singapore operates Singapore’s only Parkinson Centre, offering therapeutic programmes and activities to improve the lives of Persons with Parkinson and their caregivers. They promote awareness, education, and holistic support for the Parkinson community.

Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.

Conduct 1-to-1 assessments.

Document patient physiotherapy records accurately.

Comply with clinical and service standards.

Work with Therapist Assistants in the therapy sessions.

Manage and oversee therapy equipment inventory.

Review and update clinical protocols and SOPs.

Contribute to departmental in-service training programs, hospital educational talks and external talks / workshops / forums / seminars.

Requirements:
Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy.

Registered AHPC and BCLS certificate required.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Service oriented and customer focused.

Team player.

At least 3 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Parkinson Society Singapore (PSS) operates Singapore’s only Parkinson Centre. Set up in 1996, PSS offers numerous programmes for People with Parkinson and their caregivers, such as physiotherapy, speech therapy and other therapeutic programmes, as well as activities like Tai Chi, yoga, kickboxing, calligraphy, karaoke singing, caregiver workshops, emotional freedom techniques, etc., all aimed at improving the lives of People with Parkinson and their caregivers. Our mission is to promote awareness and understanding of Parkinson and related disorders by educating patients, caregivers and their communities, and by supporting them holistically in their journey with Parkinson.
