What they need

JOIN OUR TEAM AT GREAT NORTH PHYSIOTHERAPY

Build a physiotherapy career that challenges you, broadens your experience, and gives you room to grow.

Great North Physiotherapy (GNP) delivers high-quality, one-on-one care across two distinct settings in Niagara: our established clinic at 1882 Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake and our high-performance location inside House of Greatness at 250 Martindale Road in St. Catharines.

As the official physiotherapy team for the Niagara River Lions (CEBL) and Welland Jackfish (CBL), we’re proud to connect sport, health, and community in the heart of Niagara. Our services include physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, pelvic health, massage therapy, concussion and vestibular care, custom bracing, and more.

We’re looking for motivated, client-focused Physiotherapists who want a diverse practice and are ready to take an active role in their professional growth. Working between both locations, you will support competitive athletes, weekend warriors, clients recovering from surgery, and people looking to move more comfortably through everyday life. The variety across these settings offers opportunities to strengthen your clinical skills, explore your interests, and build meaningful relationships with our clients.

You’ll have access to one-on-one mentorship and collaboration with our clinic owner and certified Sports Physiotherapist, alongside opportunities to learn from our two certified Pelvic Health Physiotherapists. Whether you’re interested in developing your knowledge of concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, sports injuries, or pelvic health, our team offers experience and insight to support your growth.

This role is best suited to someone who takes ownership of their caseload, contributes to a collaborative team, and is confident working independently (particularly at our St. Catharines location). We value initiative, accountability, openness to constructive feedback, and a commitment to continually improving the care you provide.

If you have a growth mindset, high standards for your practice, and the drive to keep moving your career forward, we would love to hear from you.

GNP PHYSIOS ENJOY:

  • 1-hour assessments and 30-minute follow-ups (no double bookings).
  • One-on-one sessions in private treatment rooms.
  • A predominantly private clientele with occasional MVA and WSIB cases.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Complete thorough injury and condition assessments, set treatment goals, and adapt plans as needed.
  • Provide hands-on care with a focus on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
  • Educate clients and athletes on injury prevention and performance optimization.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to clinic content through blog writing and social media collaboration.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Graduate of an accredited physiotherapy program.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Indemnity/professional liability insurance.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Excellent communication skills and rapport-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Gmail/Google Suite, and Jane App.
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong manual therapy skills - we aim to provide our clients with what they want (not constantly placing them on machines).

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Previous clinical experience.
  • Specializations in sports physiotherapy, concussion management, vestibular therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, or bracing.
  • An interest in mentorship (either giving and/or receiving).
  • A passion for ongoing professional development.
  • Willingness to volunteer or participate at local community events.

PERKS:

  • Professional development fund
  • Mentorship with a certified Sports Physiotherapist and Pelvic Health Physiotherapists
  • A diverse, motivated client base from across the Niagara Region
  • Join a part of a fun-loving team that wants to get the job done
  • Team outings and events
  • Access to a health spending account
  • Flexible compensation options (hourly/fee for service)
  • The opportunity to work with professional athletes here in Niagara
