Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities
• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics interventions
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to facilitate patient rehabilitation and recovery
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to coordinate care plans
• Manage clinical documentation standards accurately within electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Provide discharge planning and home & community care guidance to ensure seamless patient transitions post-treatment
• Engage with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics, delivering compassionate communication and education on treatment goals

Experience

• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, or home health environments
• Demonstrated expertise in acute care experience with familiarity in inpatient hospital workflows and procedures
• Strong background in outpatient rehabilitation center experience focusing on patient care for orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, or pediatrics
• Knowledge of physiotherapy principles related to anatomy and physiology to inform effective treatment strategies
• Experience developing comprehensive care plans that incorporate discharge planning and patient education
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice and clinical documentation standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality
