About the role

Physio Movement is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team on a full time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic physiotherapy clinic based in Flat Bush, Auckland. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic services to our patients, helping them recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their wellness goals. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes whilst working within a supportive and professional healthcare environment.

You will be taking a lead in mentoring and supporting the team, you will lead the organisation of in-services and patient reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal and rehabilitation needs
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy modalities
• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes to patients and referring healthcare practitioners
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise prescription, and self-management strategies to support their long-term recovery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment by maintaining professional standards and supporting team members
• Ensure all clinical practice adheres to health and safety regulations and professional codes of conduct

What we're looking for

• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand

• Proven experience working as a qualified physiotherapist in a clinical setting

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment and treatment techniques

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Commitment to continuing professional development

• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain coverage)

• Current First Aid certification is advantageous

• Experience in sports injury management or rehabilitation is desirable
