Movement Clinics Physiotherapy is looking for motivated, compassionate and patient-focused Physiotherapists to join our growing team.

In addition to self-employed clinical work, we offer ambitious practitioners the opportunity to explore a longer-term pathway towards becoming a business partner through one of our two business participation schemes.

The Opportunity

This is a self-employed opportunity with flexible, zero-hours-style work arrangements, subject to the terms agreed with the successful applicant.

There are no guaranteed minimum working hours. Opportunities to provide treatments will depend on patient demand, clinic availability and mutually agreed working arrangements.

As a self-employed practitioner, you will have the opportunity to deliver professional physiotherapy services while developing your clinical experience, professional reputation and patient relationships.

For practitioners who wish to take their career further, Movement Clinics also offers two potential routes to becoming more involved in the business.

Two Routes to Business Participation

Scheme 1: Subscription-Based Practitioner Partnership Pathway

For practitioners who want to develop their own practice within the Movement Clinics environment, our subscription-based scheme provides an opportunity to access agreed clinic facilities and services under a structured commercial arrangement.

Depending on the agreed package, this may include access to treatment rooms, specified equipment, marketing opportunities and other agreed clinic resources.

This scheme is designed for practitioners who want to grow their patient base, develop their business activity and explore a pathway towards a closer commercial partnership with Movement Clinics.

Scheme 2: Business Partnership & Growth Pathway

For practitioners with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, we offer the opportunity to discuss progressing towards a business partnership.

Subject to eligibility, business performance, due diligence and a separate written agreement, practitioners may have the opportunity to acquire or earn an agreed ownership interest in a business or business venture.

The terms, financial contribution, responsibilities, ownership percentage, decision-making rights and conditions for progression would be agreed individually.

Please note: Neither scheme automatically guarantees business ownership or partnership status. Any ownership arrangement is subject to a formal agreement and the relevant legal and financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, functional abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Provide evidence-informed physiotherapy interventions to support recovery, mobility, strength and functional independence.
• Treat patients presenting with a range of musculoskeletal, sports-related and other conditions within your qualifications and scope of practice.
• Where appropriately qualified and experienced, support paediatric patients and patients with additional rehabilitation needs.
• Educate patients and, where appropriate, their families on rehabilitation programmes, exercise techniques, injury prevention and self-management.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans according to patient progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical records.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals where collaborative care is appropriate.
• Comply with professional standards, safeguarding procedures, data protection requirements and Movement Clinics policies.
• Maintain appropriate professional development and keep clinical knowledge and skills up to date.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and the professional reputation of Movement Clinics.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), where required to practise as a Physiotherapist in the UK.
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance for the services provided.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, assessment and rehabilitation principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.
• The ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgement and recognise when referral or escalation is necessary.
• A professional, reliable and patient-centred approach.
• The ability to maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and data protection requirements.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in private practice, outpatient clinics or hospital settings.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries or rehabilitation programmes.
• Paediatric physiotherapy experience, where relevant to the services offered.
• Experience developing a patient base or working in a self-employed clinical role.
• An interest in business development, entrepreneurship or future business ownership.
