Duties

• Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans by preparing treatment areas and equipment
• Support patients during therapy sessions through guidance and encouragement
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising physiotherapist
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes
• Ensure all therapy spaces are clean, organized, and ready for daily use
• Educate patients on exercises and self-care techniques to promote ongoing recovery
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and medical terminology guidelines during all activities

Requirements

• Prior hospital experience or exposure to acute care environments is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinical priorities
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
