Responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatments, and exercise demonstrations under supervision
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
• Support patients during therapy sessions by providing encouragement and guidance on exercises
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the physiotherapist promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Help manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control procedures and medical terminology standards

Experience

• Previous hospital experience or exposure to acute care settings is highly desirable
• Proven experience in patient care environments, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patients effectively

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
