Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physiotherapists to support patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties

• Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and exercises for patients
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions
• Support patient mobility and comfort during therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment details
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment spaces in accordance with clinic standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing encouragement and answering basic questions about procedures
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control procedures and medical terminology standards

Experience

• Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred, especially in acute care settings
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
• Experience working with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to clinical protocols
• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
