Volunteer Physiotherapy / Chiropractic Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Volunteer Physiotherapy / Chiropractic Assistant to support our practitioners in a multidisciplinary clinic.

This is a volunteer position focused on gaining hands-on experience and learning about physiotherapy and chiropractic clinic operations under practitioner supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists and chiropractors with patient care as directed
• Help set up patients for treatments and therapeutic modalities
• Assist with basic rehabilitation exercises under practitioner supervision
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and equipment
• Help with patient flow and general clinic support
• Assist practitioners with day-to-day clinical tasks
• Follow clinic procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control protocols

Qualifications

• Interest in physiotherapy, chiropractic care, rehabilitation, kinesiology, or a related field
• Willingness to learn and follow practitioner instructions
• Comfortable interacting with patients
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous clinic or healthcare experience is an asset but not required
