About us

GTB Music School isn't an agency. We're a decentralised music school with a community of 10+ tutors and nearly 200 students in SW Herts and NW London.

We're musician/tutor-run, so we've done and do what you do, we get it, and we want you and your students to love being part of our school, and work with us to build something even bigger and better as long-term partners.

Our team and director Peter are on hand for support and advice, sharing resources, and of course, end-of-term socials!

One of our tutors said:

“Working with GTB is wonderful. It’s well organised, great at communicating and always supportive.” — Albert K.

Parents describe us as “easy to deal with and professionally run” and say their children “look forward to lessons every week.”

Ethos

We believe lessons should be fun, engaging, well organised and structured.

As a company, we pride ourselves on our professionalism, reliability and strong communication with parents. We are a premium service and expect our tutors to go above and beyond, and they are compensated well for it.

• We handle marketing, onboarding and concerts, so you can focus on teaching
• You choose which students to take on
• Students are matched to your strengths (no blagging!)
• You control your timetable and communicate with parents directly
• No scripts or set syllabus – we trust you!
• A supportive community of tutors available for advice when needed
• Fair, realistic pay:
