PROJECT SITE COORDINATOR – FIT-OUT WORKS

JOB SUMMARY

Saza Corp. is looking for a reliable and experienced Project Site Coordinator to manage and coordinate our cabinetry, door, and related fit-out works for a hotel project in Davao City.

The successful candidate will serve as Saza Corp.’s main representative on site and will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, installation activities, manpower, materials, site measurements, progress monitoring, documentation, and communication with the General Contractor and other project stakeholders.

This role requires someone who is technically capable, organized, proactive, and experienced in actual site coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and monitor daily site activities for cabinetry, wardrobes, doors, door jambs, and related fit-out works

• Supervise installation activities and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule

• Coordinate closely with the General Contractor, architects, engineers, project managers, suppliers, installers, and other trades

• Conduct accurate site measurements and verify actual site conditions before fabrication and installation

• Check room and area readiness before installation and report any site conditions that may cause delays or installation problems

• Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, shop drawings, and installation drawings

• Prepare, revise, or mark up basic AutoCAD drawings, site measurements, and as-built drawings when required

• Identify dimensional discrepancies, obstructions, conflicts, and other site conditions that may affect installation

• Coordinate delivery schedules, unloading, staging, storage, and distribution of materials to the proper floors, rooms, and work areas

• Monitor and control inventory of cabinets, doors, panels, hardware, accessories, and other project materials

• Check delivered materials for quantity, damage, completeness, and accuracy

• Immediately report missing, damaged, defective, or incorrect materials

• Coordinate with the Head Installer regarding manpower, daily priorities, room assignments, and installation sequence

• Monitor installation productivity and ensure daily and weekly targets are achieved

• Check installation quality, alignment, levels, dimensions, hardware, finishes, and workmanship

• Conduct inspections before endorsement of completed works to the General Contractor or project management team

• Prepare and maintain punch lists and monitor rectification until all outstanding items are closed

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports with clear photos, accomplishments, pending items, issues, and required actions

• Maintain accurate progress tracking per room, floor, or area

• Maintain organized records of delivery receipts, inventories, drawings, measurements, site instructions, photos, and inspection records

• Attend site coordination meetings when necessary and communicate relevant instructions to the Saza team

• Immediately escalate major site issues, delays, measurement problems, or installation concerns to management

• Ensure proper protection and storage of delivered materials and completed installations

• Assist in project turnover, final inspection, and close-out documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably with actual experience in site coordination, project management, construction, interior fit-out, cabinetry, joinery, doors, hotel, condominium, or residential projects

• Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related construction background is an advantage but not strictly required

• Strong actual site experience is highly preferred

• Must be able to read and understand architectural plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and technical details

• Must be capable of taking accurate site measurements and verifying dimensions against drawings

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required for basic drawing revisions, mark-ups, and as-built drawings

• Must understand basic construction tolerances, levels, alignment, clearances, finishes, and installation requirements

• Must be comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measure and laser distance meter

• Must be organized and capable of handling material inventory, delivery monitoring, installation tracking, and documentation

• Must be able to use Excel or Google Sheets for progress and inventory monitoring

• Must be able to prepare clear written reports and photo documentation

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and make practical site decisions when necessary

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under project deadlines

• Must be willing to work full-time at the project site in Davao City

• Davao-based applicants are preferred

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Hotel or condominium fit-out projects

• Cabinetry, wardrobe, kitchen, furniture, or door installation

• Site measurement and as-built documentation

• Material receiving and inventory control

• Managing installers or subcontractors

• Punch listing, rectification, inspection, and turnover

• Coordination with General Contractors and multiple trades

• Experience resolving actual site discrepancies and installation issues

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is someone who can confidently manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate installers and deliveries, read drawings, take accurate measurements, monitor materials and workmanship, and provide management with clear and reliable project updates.

We are looking for someone with strong actual site experience and coordination skills, not purely an office-based background.
