Picker / Packer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker / Packer to join our warehouse team. In this position, you will be responsible for selecting, organizing, packing, and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and able to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and distribution. Previous experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick products from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders.
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify product quantities, descriptions, and order accuracy.
• Label packages and prepare orders for shipping.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and orders.
• Sort, organize, and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving shipments and replenishing inventory.
• Maintain clean and organized packing stations and storage areas.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
• Work with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping goals.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic counting, reading, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks.
• Willingness to learn warehouse equipment and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
