On The Rail is a growing clothing business based in Telford, selling brand new and trending clothing through live auctions on TikTok and Whatnot.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and attentive Warehouse Picker & Packer to join our team.

The main responsibility of the role will be picking and packing customer orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch. Attention to detail is extremely important, as mistakes can be costly.

You will also be responsible for making sure packed orders are organised and ready for our collection service, checking upcoming collections and ensuring the correct number of parcels are booked for collection.

Please note: Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to occasionally work alone in the warehouse, applicants must be 18 or over. This is a genuine requirement of the position.

The role will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Checking orders carefully before they are dispatched
• Preparing parcels for collection
• Organising parcels ready for the collection service
• Checking collection bookings and making sure the correct quantities are booked
• Organising and stacking clothing rails
• Moving and organising stock
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
• General warehouse duties as required

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, organised and takes pride in getting things right. You will need to be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for your workload.

Previous warehouse experience isn’t essential, as training will be provided. We are more interested in finding someone with a good attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in.

Hours

20 hours per week

The role is particularly suited to someone looking for school-friendly hours, with a usual start time of around 9:00–9:30am and finish around 1:00–1:30pm.

We can offer some flexibility around the exact start and finish times to accommodate school runs where possible. Some flexibility for occasional weekend work may also be required.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
