Picker/Packer

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing orders for shipment. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition. Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick items from storage locations using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders
• Pack products securely, ensuring quality control standards are met for safe delivery
• Load and unload shipments with heavy lifting as needed, utilizing forklifts or manual handling techniques
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory to maintain optimal warehouse organization
• Operate forklifts safely to move heavy materials within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Conduct routine quality checks on products to identify damages or discrepancies before dispatching

Skills

• Proven experience in materials handling, picking & packing, and warehouse management systems
• Mechanical knowledge to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory control practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for quality control tasks
• Familiarity with stock management, stocking techniques, and warehouse safety protocols
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors

Pay: £12.71-£20.31 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
