Picker/Packer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and quality. Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from shelves using order picker equipment and barcode scanning systems to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and effectively.
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks and heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, updates in warehouse management systems (WMS), and barcode scanning for logistics.

Requirements

• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling with precision.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations, including PPE use and heavy equipment operation.
• Previous experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during order fulfillment processes.

Pay: $25.06 - $29.77 per hour
