We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties

• Efficiently pick items from inventory using RF scanners and order picking systems to fulfill customer orders accurately
• Pack products securely using appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and crane systems to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse
• Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards for heavy lifting and manual handling
• Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory management systems and conduct regular stock checks
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries
• Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of material handling equipment and personal protective gear

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations
• Skilled in order picker operation, forklift driving, pallet jack use, clamp truck handling, and crane operation
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and materials handling techniques
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and packing processes
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.20 - $24.30 per hour
