Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual methods to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected during transit and meet quality standards.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to create a safe working environment for all team members.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and organizing stock in designated warehouse areas.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and organizing materials for easy access.
• Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is advantageous.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment purposes.
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving or logistics will be beneficial in understanding warehouse operations thoroughly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Pay: $17.30 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
