Picker/Packer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and safety. Duties

• Use order picker equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts to retrieve products from storage areas
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to accurately pick and track inventory
• Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring products are protected during transit
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, heavy equipment, and manual handling techniques in compliance with safety protocols
• Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy before shipping
• Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and barcode scanning for logistics

Requirements

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, or similar heavy equipment
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems (IMS)
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and packing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail for order picking, packing accuracy, and quality control
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and personal protective equipment (PPE) use
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Warehouse experience with shipping & receiving, stock management, and distribution processes is preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
