Pickleball Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and experience in coaching various sports or activities. This role involves educating and engaging students in a dynamic environment, fostering their skills in cheerleading, martial arts, swimming, climbing, and other physical activities. The Instructor will play a vital role in promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among participants.

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote physical fitness.
• Teach various sports and physical activities, including cheerleading, martial arts, swimming, and climbing.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Foster teamwork and cooperation among participants through group activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Maintain safety standards during all activities and ensure a safe environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance program offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or coaching physical education or sports-related activities.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively engage students.
• Experience in cheerleading, martial arts, swimming, or other relevant sports is preferred.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all skill levels.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
• Certification as a lifeguard is a plus for roles involving water activities.
• A passion for educating youth about the importance of fitness and healthy lifestyles.
