Vale is a purpose-driven clothing brand founded in 2014 by Brian and Jesse, who started by teaching themselves design and sewing with limited resources. What began as a creative outlet grew into a recognized brand focused on meaningful, intentional products that reflect self-expression, community, and long-term impact.

The name “Vale,” meaning “valley” or “open land,” represents potential and the belief that success is built through discipline and effort. The brand emphasizes themes of legacy, sacrifice, and growth, with “14” symbolizing the founders’ commitment to their vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Picking

• Locate and pick products from shelves or storage areas based on order tickets or system instructions
• Verify correct items, quantities, and product condition
• Organize picked items for efficient packing

Packing & Shipping

• Pack orders securely following company packaging standards
• Label shipments accurately and prepare them for carrier pickup
• Ensure all packing slips and documentation are included

Quality Control

• Inspect items for damage or defects before packing
• Double-check orders for accuracy to minimize errors and returns

Inventory Handling

• Assist with restocking shelves and organizing inventory
• Report low stock levels, damaged goods, or discrepancies
• Support cycle counts and inventory checks as needed

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow proper storage and handling procedures
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned

Safety Compliance

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Use equipment properly (scanners, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Report hazards or incidents immediately

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and reading skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or packing/shipping environment
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience with high-volume order picking (e.g., e-commerce or retail distribution)
• Basic understanding of inventory processes and stock organization
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (forklift experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy
• Ability to meet productivity targets and work efficiently under time constraints
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or peak-season schedules
