Job Title: Fuji PACS Administrator

Location: San Francisco, CA - 100% On-site, Mon - Fri

Duration: 12+ Month Contract, likely extensions

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced PACS Consultant with strong Fuji PACS technical experience to support the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of its medical imaging environment. This individual will work closely with radiology, clinical, and IT teams to ensure system stability, resolve technical issues, and support efficient imaging workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical support, administration, and maintenance of the Fuji PACS environment.
• Troubleshoot PACS application issues, image routing problems, connectivity issues, and system performance concerns.
• Support PACS configuration, system enhancements, testing, and workflow optimization.
• Work with radiology departments, imaging specialists, and IT teams to identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Support DICOM image management, modality connectivity, and integrations between PACS, RIS, and other clinical systems.
• Assist with system upgrades, implementations, and ongoing PACS optimization initiatives as needed.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide support to end users and internal technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on technical experience supporting and administering Fuji PACS (Fujifilm Synapse).
• Strong understanding of PACS architecture, radiology workflows, DICOM, HL7, and medical imaging integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting PACS connectivity, image routing, application performance, and modality integration issues.
• Previous experience supporting PACS environments within hospitals or large healthcare organizations.
• Experience with PACS implementations, upgrades, migrations, or optimization projects preferred.
• Must reside in the East Bay or greater San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work on-site 5 days per week.
