Pie Maker/Assistant Baker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team cross-trained as a Pie Maker/Assistant Baker. This role is essential in ensuring that our food production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and experience in various aspects of food preparation, baking, and customer service. Commitment and Teachability are a must.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established recipes.
• Package finished products for sale or distribution, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in food production processes, including preparation of ingredients and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking and pastry arts preferred; but Teachability is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with packaging techniques for various food products is beneficial.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
