Deliver safe, appropriate Pilates instruction within your training and competence, providing clear guidance on technique and adapting exercises to clients' abilities and stated limitations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, appropriate Pilates instruction within your training and competence, provide clear guidance on technique, and adapt exercises to clients' abilities and stated limitations
• Maintain accurate records, including class attendance, completed sessions, and required client progress notes or end-of-day reports
• Maintain studio and equipment readiness, including proper setup, care, and cleaning of equipment used during classes, and promptly report defects or safety concerns
• Observe professional standards, including punctuality, respectful communication, client confidentiality, and coordination with studio staff regarding schedules and client concerns

About you

• Certified Pilates instructor through an established training provider, with certification appropriate to the classes handled
• Reformer Pilates certification is preferred
• Strong understanding of basic anatomy, body alignment, breathing techniques, and safe movement, including the proper use of Pilates equipment
• Ability to plan and adapt sessions based on clients' goals, abilities, and limitations, while recognizing when medical clearance or referral to a healthcare professional is needed
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a patient, approachable, and client-focused attitude
• Professional, punctual, and dependable, with the ability to work collaboratively and follow studio policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements
• Willing to work the agreed schedule, including weekend duties when assigned
