Pilates Instructor

About the role

Conduct safe and engaging Pilates classes, teaching Reformer, Mat or equipment-based classes according to certification. Demonstrate exercises and provide clear instructions to participants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safe and engaging Pilates classes
• Teach Reformer, Mat or equipment-based classes according to certification
• Demonstrate exercises and provide clear instructions
• Correct participants' posture, technique and alignment
• Adapt exercises for different fitness levels and physical limitations
• Conduct group and private sessions when required
• Monitor clients' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain studio equipment and follow safety procedures
• Support positive member experiences and studio activities

About you

• Recognised Pilates teaching certification
• Certification in Mat or Reformer Pilates; additional apparatus certification is advantageous
• Good understanding of anatomy, movement and exercise safety
• Confident communication and class-management skills
• Able to work shifts, evenings and weekends when required
• CPR/AED or First Aid certification would be advantageous
• Previous Pilates teaching experience would be good to have
