Pilates Instructor

PILATES INSTRUCTOR – STUDIO CO

Location: Midhurst
Studio: Studio Co Pilates
Role: Pilates Instructor

Studio Co is growing, and we’re looking for brilliant Pilates instructors to join the team at our newest studio in Midhurst.

We’re looking for instructors from a variety of Pilates backgrounds, whether your training and teaching style is Contemporary, Classical or Fully Comprehensive.

What matters most to us is great teaching. We want instructors who are knowledgeable, confident and passionate about Pilates, but who also understand that the experience around the class is just as important as the class itself.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team and helping us build the Studio Co Midhurst community from the very beginning.

THE ROLE

As a Studio Co Pilates Instructor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging, safe and high-quality Pilates classes in line with your qualifications and experience
• Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through the studio doors
• Confidently teaching mixed abilities and offering appropriate progressions, regressions and modifications
• Providing clear, knowledgeable cueing with a strong focus on technique and movement quality
• Getting to know our members and helping to create the friendly, community-led experience Studio Co is known for
• Arriving prepared and on time, with classes thoughtfully planned and ready to teach
• Ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly throughout every class
• Keeping the studio and equipment beautifully presented before and after sessions
• Communicating professionally with members and the wider Studio Co team
• Supporting studio events, launches and community initiatives where appropriate
• Representing Studio Co and our values both inside and outside the studio

ABOUT YOU

We’re intentionally looking for instructors with a variety of training backgrounds and teaching styles.

You may be Contemporary Pilates trained, Classically trained or Fully Comprehensive. We would particularly love to hear from instructors with experience across different pieces of Pilates apparatus.

You’ll be confident in your own teaching style while remaining open to learning, developing and working as part of a wider instructor team.

Most importantly, you genuinely care about the people in front of you. You can read a room, adapt when needed and make both a first-time client and an experienced Pilates regular feel equally well looked after.

REQUIREMENTS

• A recognised Pilates qualification relevant to the classes you will be teaching
• Current Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) – essential
• A strong understanding of safe Pilates practice, movement and appropriate modifications
• Confident communication and people skills
• A reliable and professional approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A genuine passion for Pilates, movement and helping people feel stronger and better in themselves

Experience across Reformer, Tower, Chair, Mat and other Pilates apparatus is particularly welcomed, depending on your individual training and qualifications.

WHY STUDIO CO?

Studio Co is an independent and growing Pilates community built around expert teaching, thoughtfully designed spaces and a slightly obsessive attention to detail.

We believe there is space for different approaches to Pilates. Our instructor team brings together different backgrounds, personalities and methods while sharing the same commitment to excellent teaching and a brilliant member experience.

As Midhurst is our newest studio, you’ll have the opportunity to join us from the beginning, build relationships within a brand-new community and grow alongside Studio Co as we begin our next chapter.
