Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pilates Instructor role based in Sugar Land, TX. The Pilates Instructor will lead dynamic group classes using JETSET Pilates® methods, ensuring safe, effective, and inclusive workouts for clients at various fitness levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing class formats and playlists, demonstrating and cueing exercises clearly, offering modifications and progressions, and monitoring proper form to reduce risk of injury. The instructor will greet and support clients before and after class, answer questions about technique and studio offerings, and help foster a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. Additional tasks include maintaining studio cleanliness and equipment setup, collaborating with the team on programming and events, and supporting client retention by encouraging consistent practice and goal setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Pilates Instruction skills, with the ability to design and deliver safe, engaging, and results-focused classes.
• Experience with Group Exercise settings, including managing diverse fitness levels and leading high-energy, music-driven sessions.
• Understanding of Physical Therapy principles, body mechanics, and injury prevention to provide informed modifications and guidance.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building authentic connections, supporting client goals, and maintaining a positive studio environment.
• Demonstrated Teaching skills, including clear verbal cueing, motivation, and the ability to give constructive, supportive feedback.
• Current Pilates certification (reformer or contemporary method preferred); additional fitness certifications are a plus.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
• Reliable availability for a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend classes as needed.
• Ability to stand, demonstrate exercises, and move equipment throughout the shift.
