Boutique Pilates Instructor (Mat & Reformer)

Pittsburgh, PA — Opening 2027

A new boutique Pilates studio is launching in Pittsburgh in 2027, offering a modern, intentional, breath‑centered movement experience. We’re building a calm, elevated environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and connected — without the chaos, fluff, or high‑intensity trends that dominate the industry.

We’re seeking instructors who value precision, community, and a grounded teaching style. If you’re passionate about movement and creating meaningful client experiences, you’ll thrive here.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Deliver Exceptional Classes

• Offer individualized coaching, precise form corrections, and accessible modifications for all levels.
• Maintain a warm, professional presence with consistent energy and attention to detail.
• Uphold a clean, organized, aesthetically aligned studio environment.

Create Interpersonal Relationships

• Build authentic relationships with clients and foster a welcoming, inclusive community.
• Learn names, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful moments that keep clients connected.
• Deliver hospitality before, during, and after class that feels personal, calm, and intentional.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Genuine passion for Pilates, wellness, and helping others feel strong and confident.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a structured, music‑supported class (not HIIT‑style).
• Coachable, curious, and committed to continuous growth.
• Previous group fitness instruction experience preferred, but not required.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to complete our Instructor Training Program (mat + reformer), including on‑site training.

AVAILABILITY EXPECTATIONS

• Ability to teach a consistent weekly schedule, 10-20 hours per week.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on studio needs.
• Willingness to attend team meetings, continuing education sessions, and community events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to move throughout the studio and demonstrate Pilates exercises safely.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to coach in a calm, music‑supported environment with attention to detail and client safety.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive per‑class compensation.
• Opportunities for performance‑based incentives.
• Complimentary or discounted classes.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Ongoing education and professional development.
• Growth opportunities as the studio expands.
