Pimcore CMS L3 Support Engineer / Developer

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix code-level defects in Pimcore, PHP modules, and templates.
• Own root cause analysis for P1/P2 incidents and recurring defects.
• Execute Pimcore version upgrades, security patches, and PHP runtime updates.
• Perform performance optimisation including caching, queries, and asset delivery.
• Build and enhance custom Pimcore components, modules, and integrations.
• Support dashboard and reporting fixes involving data pipelines and visual layers.
• Review L2 escalations and provide engineering guidance or permanent fixes.
• Ensure fixes follow deployment, rollback, and regression standards.
• Maintain engineering standards and contribute to platform hardening.

Required experience

• 6-9 years in PHP-based CMS or enterprise web engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with Pimcore CMS internals and extension model.
• Strong PHP, Symfony, Twig, and MySQL skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and production deployments.
• Proven exposure to high-availability, multi-site CMS platforms.
