Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pipe Foreman to lead and oversee pipeline construction projects from start to finish. This vital role involves managing on-site operations, supervising skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of pipeline installation processes. As a Pipe Foreman, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality projects efficiently while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

• Lead and supervise pipeline construction crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment in order to install pipe.
• Coordinate daily activities on the construction site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide installation processes accurately
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards through regular safety meetings and inspections
• Oversee quality control measures, inspecting work for adherence to specifications and industry standards
• Install gravity sewer and storm pipe with lasers and levels.
• Collaborate with project managers on scheduling adjustments and resource needs to meet project deadlines
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure work quality aligns with project requirements

Skills

• Extensive construction site experience with pipelines or heavy civil projects
• Strong management and supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction sites
• Skilled in project scheduling and coordination to optimize workflow efficiency
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively
• Experience in grading and earthworks is not required but greatly appreciated and could result it better pay.
