Pipe Foreman

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Pipe Foreman with 15+ years of experience to direct and lead our underground utility construction crews.

In this position, you will oversee site installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems, manage job site safety, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure all pipe installation meets local city ordinances and municipal codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the pipe crew, including pipe layers, equipment operators, and laborers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, line and grade stakes, and cut sheets.
• Plan and schedule site workflow, daily tasks, materials delivery, and equipment usage.
• Inspect ground conditions, verify trench safety/shoring, and strictly enforce OSHA compliance.
• Oversee site excavation, pipe laying, jointing, backfilling, and line testing (pressure and mandrel tests).
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, utility companies, and city officials on site.
• Track daily production, timecards, and job site logs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in underground utility pipe installation, with proven leadership experience as a crew foreman.
• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
• Location: Ability to report to job sites located throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
• Strong working knowledge of laser levels, transit instruments, trench safety equipment, and heavy machinery operations.
• Excellent communication, crew management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $37.00 per hour
