Pipe Layer -Civil Construction

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lay and install pipes according to blueprints and specifications

• Excavate trenches using hand tools or heavy equipment

• Align and position pipes using grade rods or transit levels

• Connect pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, or welding equipment

• Test pipelines for leaks or other defects

• Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings

• Backfill trenches and compact soil to ensure stability

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

• Be able to drive a single axle 5 ton clean drivers abstract class 5 only required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role

• Knowledge of pipe materials, sizes, and fittings

• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
