About The Role We are looking for experienced Pipelayers to join a major long-term construction project. Working as part of a skilled civils team, you will be involved in the installation of underground utilities, drainage systems, pipelines and associated infrastructure works.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in civil engineering, utilities, drainage, or infrastructure projects who are committed to delivering work safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of underground pipework and utility systems.
• Excavation, trenching and reinstatement activities.
• Assisting with drainage, ducting and infrastructure installation works.
• Working alongside plant operators and groundworks teams.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and site plans.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Supporting general civil engineering and construction activities as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pipelayer, Groundworker, Utilities Operative or Civil Engineering Operative.
• Experience working on utilities, drainage, infrastructure or construction projects.
• Good understanding of excavation and trench safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• CSCS Card (essential).
• Additional industry-relevant qualifications and certifications would be advantageous.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
