Pipe Layer

Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipe Layer at QB Construction Group located in Boynton Beach, FL. We are looking for a skilled, dependable team member to lead underground utility installations, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret civil drawings, utility plans, and cut sheets to ensure accurate pipe alignment, elevations, and slopes.
• Perform site layout, grade checking, and accurate field measurements.
• Lay, align, fit, and seal pipes, fittings, and related underground structures according to project specifications.
• Guide trench bedding and backfilling procedures to ensure pipe integrity and proper compaction.
• Coordinate with the crew and site foreman to maintain workflow, quality standards, and trench safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction sites and utility projects
• Strong technical skills in blueprint reading, site layout, and precise field measurements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate equipment is a plus, but not required

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 57.0 per week
