Pipe Layer

Crossroads Site Development LLC is hiring experienced Pipe Layers to join our underground utility crew.

We are looking for dependable, experienced individuals who know how to install water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems and can work efficiently as part of a production-focused utility crew.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have previous underground utility construction experience and be comfortable working in and around active excavations and heavy equipment.

What You'll Do

• Install water, sewer, and storm pipe
• Set pipe to proper line and grade
• Use pipe lasers, levels, and grade rods
• Install manholes, catch basins, structures, fittings, valves, and related utility components
• Prepare pipe bedding and assist with proper backfill
• Work directly with excavator operators to keep production moving
• Assist with utility testing and inspections
• Safely work in and around trenches and excavations
• Identify potential issues before they become rework
• Maintain tools and keep the work area organized
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous pipe laying / underground utility experience required
• Experience installing storm, sanitary sewer, and/or water systems
• Ability to understand line, grade, and elevations
• Experience with pipe lasers and grade checking
• Understanding of trench and excavation safety
• Ability to work around excavators and other heavy equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
• Valid driver's license preferred
• CDL, OSHA, and Competent Person training are a plus

We especially want to hear from you if you can read plans, check grade, communicate well with an operator, and help keep a pipe crew productive.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
