Responsibilities

• Operate excavation equipment such as excavators to install underground drainage
• Use hand tools and power tools to install new drainage pipes.
• Conduct tasks including general site upkeep to support drainage infrastructure.
• Inspect systems and perform necessary testing of pipes to ensure no leaks .
• Assist with construction projects related to drainage upgrades or new installations, following safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team ensure all equipment functions efficiently.

Skills

• experience in piplelaying essential with a focus on outdoor drainage projects.
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and construction machinery such as excavators.
• Strong understanding of drainage systems, and general construction practices.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and reporting project progress or issues.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions for extended periods.

Wages depending on experience.

Pay: £190.00-£220.00 per day
