Why Join NuFlow Upstate NY

NuFlow Upstate NY is building something different. We focus on extending the life of critical infrastructure using proven trenchless technologies that solve real problems while minimizing disruption for our customers. This is an opportunity to join a team in a growth stage, where your impact is visible, your input matters, and your success directly shapes the company’s trajectory.

You’ll work with modern equipment, proven methods, and a team that values safety, craftsmanship, and accountability. We invest in training, promote from within, and create opportunities for technicians to grow into lead roles as the company expands. If you want challenging, hands-on work, a supportive team environment, and the chance to build a long-term career in a growing trade, NuFlow offers a platform for growth, trust, and results.

Company Overview

NuFlow Upstate NY is a small, family-owned business specializing in non-traditional pipe rehabilitation, including CIPP (cured-in-place pipe lining), pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, and other “trenchless” technologies. Our specialty is small-to-medium diameter pipe (1.5" - 24") within the building footprint for sanitary, storm, process waste, forced mains, cooling towers, fire, potable water, condensate return, and other various applications. We also perform pipe rehabilitation work outside the building footprint – laterals to mains, site storm / sanitary – for small-to-large diameter pipe. These innovations are ideal for commercial, industrial, multi-family, educational, and institutional applications where disruption must be minimized and results need to be dependable.

Position Overview

· The Field Technician is responsible for executing trenchless pipe rehabilitation work in commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal environments. This is a hands-on role that includes the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), conducting robotic branch line reinstatements, operating CCTV inspection equipment, performing pipe cleaning and milling, and installing other pipe rehabilitation systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

· This role is critical to delivering high-quality outcomes for customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments.

Location

· This role is based primarily in Rochester (Henrietta), but the employee must be willing to travel regionally with a crew of technicians. Our region is defined as Western / Upstate NY (Syracuse, Albany, Watertown, Buffalo, Jamestown, Binghamton, etc.).

· Roughly 80% of our work is within a 60-90-mile radius of Rochester, but occasionally we may have jobs that require overnight stays in hotels for a few days at a time. This is usually done when a job is >2.5 hour drive one-way.
