🌟 Reason for Being

As part of a leading goods retailer's Wholesale transformation, Pipedrive has been chosen as one CRM solution to manage commercial pipelines and customer relationships across multiple countries and different business models (B2B, Resellers). However, to maximize its value, there is a need to transition from a decentralized usage to a highly industrialized and standardized ecosystem.

The mission as an external Pipedrive expert is to unlock the full potential of the platform. Acting as the technical architect and operational enabler, the role involves optimizing the tool’s advanced features, automating repetitive tasks to save time for central and local teams, and establishing a unified "Golden Standard" of CRM workflows across all participating countries.

Important context: so far, Pipedrive is not deployed yet for the partners management on the reseller business model. It has been used for some months now to manage the Club&Entities customers (enterprises, clubs) quote requests only.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  1. Advanced Feature Optimization & Audit

    • Conduct a deep-dive audit of the current Pipedrive setups to identify gaps, underutilized features, and data clean-up opportunities.

    • Configure and deploy advanced capabilities.

    • Design and implement robust central and local dashboards to provide business leaders with real-time visibility on pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity.

  2. Country Enablement & Configuration Efficiency

    • Structuralize the process of onboarding and assisting new countries, replacing repetitive manual configurations with scalable solutions.

    • Create clear, accessible documentation and deliver training sessions ("Train the Trainer" approach) for local CRM champions.

    • Act as the level-3 expert to solve complex configuration requests.

  3. Workflow Standardization & Automation

    • Standardize pipeline stages, lost/won reasons, and data entry rules to ensure data consistency across all European countries, using the current Marketplace example to learn about “success stories” and reuse best practices.

    • Build automated workflows within Pipedrive (e.g., auto-creating tasks, updating lead status, sending automated template follow-ups) to eliminate manual administration for sales teams.

    • Ensure the Pipedrive standard structure is ready to seamlessly interface with future "United" tools (like the future Bike Leasing or MyClub CRM pipelines).

Success Indicators (KPIs)

  • Standardization Rate: 100% of the active countries aligned under the newly defined "Wholesale Blueprint" configuration.

  • Time-to-Onboard: Reduction in time (hours/days) required by the central team to configure Pipedrive for a new country.

  • Automation Adoption: Number of manual tasks eliminated through Pipedrive native automation workflows.

  • Data Completeness: Improvement in the accuracy and completeness of key business fields filled by local sales representatives.

Key Interactions & Positioning

  • CRM Product Manager: aligning everything done on Pipedrive with the overall CRM strategy led by the CRM PM.

  • GPM Assisted Commerce / Wholesale Domain Leader: aligning CRM capabilities with global B2B sales strategies and governance.

  • Local Wholesale Business Leaders & Key Account Managers (KAMs): gathering operational feedback and training them on best practices.

  • Wholesale Product Managers : coordinating on how Pipedrive should eventually feed or receive data from specific vertical solutions.

  • Workflow automation tools (native Pipedrive automation, potentially third-party tools like Zapier or Make)

  • Multi-country CRM deployment and configuration

Profile wanted


  1. Certified Pipedrive Expert with a proven track record of successful Pipedrive implementations and advanced configurations in a B2B or Wholesale environment
  2. Deep knowledge of Pipedrive workflow automation (and ideally third-party automation tools like Zapier or Make)
  3. International / Multi-Country Experience with the ability to manage projects involving multiple cultural stakeholders and harmonize diverse local habits into a single standard
  4. Excellent communication skills to simplify technical features into clear user guides and training modules (pedagogy & documentation)
