Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute pipefitting tasks.
• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems including fire sprinkler systems, HVAC piping, process piping, and plumbing fixtures.
• Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely to cut, thread, weld, solder, and assemble pipes according to specifications.
• Perform welding using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques to join pipes securely.
• Conduct pipe threading and fabrication to create custom pipe sections as needed for specific projects.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations such as NFPA standards and company safety protocols during all phases of work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.
• Assist with the installation of sprinkler systems and fire protection equipment following detailed construction plans.
• Perform routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure longevity and optimal performance on ongoing projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision and Pipe Layout
• Mechanical knowledge of piping components, fittings, valves, and related equipment.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as pipe wrenches, cutters, threaders, and measuring devices.
• Experience with pipe threading and fabrication for custom pipe assembly projects.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions, angles, and quantities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations including NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting and general construction site safety practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for proper installation procedures.
• Construction site experience with a focus on pipe installation, assembly, maintenance or related roles.
• Familiarity with power tool safety protocols when operating drills, grinders or other equipment used in pipefitting tasks.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
