Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team for a long-term project in Steamboat, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for steady work, competitive hourly pay, and per diem assistance while working away from home.

The project is expected to last 6 months or longer, with approximately 50–58 hours available per week. Candidates should have Tools, hands-on pipefitting experience, a strong understanding of industrial piping systems, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fit, and maintain piping systems according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, isometric drawings, and other technical documents.
• Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe for installation.
• Align and fit pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, and related components.
• Identify pipe sizes, materials, fittings, and connection types.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pipefitting equipment safely and correctly.
• Work with other trades and team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Inspect installed piping for proper alignment, fit, and compliance with project requirements.
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete assigned work within project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience as a Pipefitter is required.
• Ability to read and understand piping blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe installation, fitting, layout, and assembly.
• Familiarity with industrial piping systems, valves, flanges, and fittings.
• Ability to use pipefitting tools and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work 50–58 hours per week as required by the project.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and follow directions from supervisors.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
